Dr. Remil Simon

Dr. Remil Simon is a comprehensive Ophthalmologist who uses state of the art techniques to deliver excellent surgical results. He specializes in Laser Cataract Surgery using Premium Intraocular Lenses. He also uses cutting edge technology to perform LASIK, PRK, Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery, and Glaucoma Laser Surgery. He is also well equipped to manage and deliver advanced treatments for glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, and other ocular disorders.

Dr. Simon is originally from Tennessee and graduated summa cum laude from Lee University as a Kairos Scholar. He then graduated from ETSU Quillen College of Medicine with prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors and Gold Humanism Society Honors. After medical school, he completed his Preliminary Medicine training at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia where distinguished himself by serving as the Surgical Chief Resident during the final year of his training.

Dr. Simon is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Simon’s dedication to service also extends beyond the U.S. as he has participated in international medical care in Belize and Guatemala.

In his free time, Dr. Simon enjoys playing golf and basketball, traveling, and spending time with his wife and family.
